As for the steering wheel, we regret the very ” plastic » Pedals precisely, but the whole remains nevertheless very solid, and perfectly modular.īasically, only three connectors are used, namely USB to connect the steering wheel to its console, the mains socket, and the Pedal port, to connect the pedal © Obviously, with the accessories provided, you can easily modify the positioning of the latter, to bring them closer to each other or to raise/lower the pedal itself.

For our part, we have opted (as an option) for an Omega GT-type steering wheel support, which allows the base to be screwed on just like the pedals for maximum stability of the assembly.įinally, the Fanatec GT DD Pro bundle also comes with a metal crankset, also quite heavy, to which the accelerator and brake pedals are firmly screwed. Everything comes with an accessory (a clamp) which allows you to clamp the steering wheel to a support (a table for example) which is also of very good quality. Again, the whole smacks of quality and ease of use. At the back, we find all the connectors, with the USB port, the power socket, and the various additional sockets, for the accessories, including the pedal set. We also find here the precious motorized base, with a particularly heavy block, which has a cylindrical attachment at the front, to fix the previously unpacked wheel.

The set remains very correct despite everything. In the center, the GT logo to affirm its “official” side, and around it, a quality non-slip rubber, even if we can pout in front of a not very flattering plastic at the bottom of the steering wheel and plastic paddles to both small and a bit cheap. When unpacking, the whole thing smacks of quality and like everyone else, we first take the wheel in hand, with here a fairly compact steering wheel, stuffed with buttons (PlayStation) and other switches of all kinds.
